2010 Michigan Stadium Rededication: Kickoff of a New Era at the Big House<br />
The University of Michigan began a new era of strength and tradition at the Big House at the kickoff the rededication game against the University of Connecticut on September 4, 2010. After three years of construction, new east and west structures are flanked by access towers and feature new elevated concourses, 82 suites, 3,000 indoor and outdoor club seats, and more than 650 new chairback seats. The changes raised the Big House capacity to 109,901 but an NCAA record crowd of 113,090 watched as the Wolverines defeated the Huskies 30-10.
